THE BELIEVERS MELODY

Ephesians 5:18-20 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

What is the take of the Lord when it comes to the believer and music? Did God give us an open cheque that we can sing any song? No, the Bible is very clear on the kind of music appropriate for the believer; psalms, hymns, and songs from the spirit. We sing the word of God and we make music from God's Word, it is our raw material for making music. Every music is backed by a spirit and is sang in the name of Something. The songs we sing must be from thr tunes from the Holy Spirit and they must be sung thankfully in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Holy Spirit fill my heart with your melody and let the songs I sing and make bring glory to you in Jesus name Amen.
