THE SUPRISE COME BACK

Zechariah 8:4-6 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Once again men and women of ripe old age will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each of them with a cane in hand because of their age. The city streets will be filled with boys and girls playing there." This is what the LORD Almighty says: "It may seem marvelous to the remnant of these people at that time, but will it seem marvelous to me?" declares the LORD Almighty.

History has recorded events that kept people indoors for a while. The 1918 influenza pandemic, 1957- 1958 H2N2 pandemic, 1968-H3N2 pandemic, 2009 H1N1 pandemic, Ebola virus, and the pending is Covid-19. Apart from these events like war, and violence have kept people in isolation before. Bible has also got its history of people having to isolate themselves for a while.
Isaiah 26:20 Go, my people, enter your rooms, and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by.
None of these situations experienced in history and Bible remained forever, they all expired from the system. COVID- 19 also has an expiring date. It will expire and what will be left of it will be history. Surely a remnant will be left to tell the story and you will be part. Sooner than we can imagine we our aged will be strolling our streets again, we hear our kids play in their playgrounds and our backyards again, we won't support our teams from our rooms but our stadia will be full and overflowing and above all the churches will be opened for us to enjoy the sweet fellowship of the Lord.
Psalms 133:1-2 How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe.
Our shield and defense in these times is the blood of Jesus Christ. Take full cover in the blood and be enumerated to tell the story of how we overcame Covid-19.

Prayer: Father I believe I will be a remnant to tell the story. I pray for the covering of the blood for myself and for anyone connected to me by blood or relation in Jesus name Amen.
