LIVING BEYOND MEASURE
Humans beings like to measure people and things and to find their capacity. Numerical values have been used to determine people's performance and it has been used to place them within certain limits. Zechariah 2:2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
Everything about us from foodstuff, electronics, chemicals, lands, academics, economies, health, wealth, etc is all determined by figures. This is not bad in itself, it is just our limitations as human beings, we cannot see beyond measuring rod. God is not a man, he does not use the measuring rod of men to define one's destiny. What God has placed in you is more than what the scale and measuring rod is saying. Don't let your life be measured by people's standards. There is more in you than the G.P. A is saying, there is more in you than the test result is indicating. What God has placed in you is beyond measure. Don't let numbers and figures define you. When God promised Abraham the blessing of becoming a generational father, the stars and sand at seashore were uncountable. You are unpredictability. God was angry with David for counting the people.
1Chronicles 21:2&7 And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it. And God was displeased with this thing; therefore he smote Israel.
You displease God when you accept and live your life by people's measuring rod. Live your life by what God has placed in you, it is a life without limit full of power and glory.
Prayer: Father forgive me for living according to people's measuring rule I chose to live the God-life where is my glory and boundary in Jesus mighty name Amen.
