THE GREAT SACRIFICE

Zephaniah 1:7 Be silent before the Sovereign LORD, for the day of the LORD is near. The LORD has prepared a sacrifice; he has consecrated those he has invited.

The day of the Lord is closing in and we must be on our watch. Too much talking will not yield us any results. We always complain about how corrupt our generation is becoming and we sometimes even ask ourselves if God will get candidates for eternity. God wants us to be quiet and focus on what Jesus has done for us.
Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed.We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Jesus himself said in Luke 18:8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?" Yes, Christ will find faith because He is that prepared sacrifice and consecrates all who accept the invitation to dine with him. The invitation is still open for all. Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power that grants permission into eternity?

Prayer: Jesus I accept your invitation, consecrate me and present me blameless before the father in Jesus mighty name Amen.
