PRAY DON'T ENVY

Ezekiel 31:7 Because of the magnificence I gave this tree, it was the envy of all the other trees of Eden, the garden of God.

God is not a partial God. He did not create anyone without a gift. He gave gifts and talents to individuals according to their ability. Those who do not appreciate what God has given them become envious of others. Envy is a resentful desire of something possessed by another or others (but not limited to material possessions). 1Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. If you are not satisfied with what you have, envy can't solve that. God has given you many avenues to ask him for more. James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no fickleness, neither shadow of turning. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you:For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to hi,m that knocks it shall be opened.
Do not choose the ways of Cain and that of the brothers Joseph who envied others to their own destruction. Rather emulate the ways of Jabez. 1Chronicles 4:9-10 There was a man named Jabez who was more distinguished than any of his brothers. His mother named him Jabez because his birth had been so painful. He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and extend my lands! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!" And God granted him his request.
Pray don't envy.

Prayer: Father am not satisfied with my current situation. I ask in Jesus name that you do more in my life. Amen
