IS YOUR FAITH FIREPROOF?

Daniel 3:16 -18.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
What a firm stand to take for the Lord?  Such decisions make the devil furious and makes him harden his burden. But we have a God  who has said come unto me all who are heavily burdened and I will give you rest. When the devil throws his weight of burden upon you, the Lord gives you rest. Any other fire you walk through can burn you, but when you walk through the fire because of God and his word, it doesn't burn: the son of God ministers to you in the midst of the fire and it refreshes you.
More than ever you must be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. The word admonishes us that we should not be afraid of them that can only destroy the body but rather have deep reverence for the one who is able to destroy both the body and spirit. Your obedience to the word of God in the face of persecution, attracts more people to God than your partial obedience. The King of Babylon and his people wouldn't worship God ever  but for the stand the three Hebrews took for the Lord. When we stand for the Lord, He demonstrates his undeniable miracles that only brings glory to his name and serve as a means of evangelism to the people. Your persecution is a case to show forth God's glory and to bring many into the saving knowledge of Christ. Therefore you need to stand firm and not compromise.
Prayer: Holy Spirit turn my trials into great testimonies and use it to draw many into your kingdom. I will stand with you Jesus to the very end. Amen
