MUTE IDOLS
Revelation 9:20
The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood-- idols that cannot see or hear or walk.

If God has spared your life is because his patience means salvation and He does not take delight in the death of a sinner. Don't harden your heart like the people our verse is talking about.
2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
You're God's temple. Why would choose to worship idols which cannot see, hear and walk? When the almighty God who sees, hears and walk is ready to dwell in you if you will allow him. Remember where you have fallen short and turn to the true God who is worthy of all praise and worship.
