TESTIMONY FOR THE CHURCHES
Revelation 22 :16
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

Testimonies are shared to encourage us and to give us hope. People share testimonies of current events.
But Jesus being the son of God has shared a futuristic testimony with us in the book of Revelation through an angel because He is the Alpha and Omega, who knows the end from the beginning. In this testimony he pin pointed some flaws in the body of Christ and asked us look at areas where we have fallen short and rise to the occasion. He also spelt out the consequences awaiting those who rejects his love and also outlined the blessings of all who accepted his lowly birth, death and resurrection to be his disciples. This portion of scripture sums it up for us
Deuteronomy 30:15-19
See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.
But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess. This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.
