HONORING THE LORD IN A WORLD THAT DOESN'T

Daniel 1:8
But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.

The world will always present you with options contrary to the word of God and make you feel it the last resort. Even in Babylon a pagan nation Daniel found a menu that will please the Lord and also not defile him. In a world where it looks as if the devil has more easy options to his advantage,  you as a believer must take a firm stand not to compromise. Don't side with the devil, there are godly options. The Bible says the earth belongs to the Lord and the fullness thereof. Whatever you desire to eat, drink, wear, watch, listen to and to participate in the Lord has made provisions for his Children. Don't compromise be resolute about your stand and in the Lord. In the end you will emerge better than the children of darkness.
