AS SWEET AS HONEY

Revelation 10:10
I took the little scroll from the angel's hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.
The sweetness or bitterness of what we take in is felt in the mouth. It then goes to through digestion: where the useful ones stay in the body with the waste coming out as excreta.
Is same with the word of God. It sounds very exciting and powerful when it is quoted.
And indeed the word of is powerful and exciting.    But like food it doesn't just end in our mouth, it must go into our inner being to make positive  changes and to eject negative  attitudes out of your life.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
You will never experience the power and excitement of the spoken word unless you have allowed it to have a way in your life. The state of an engine reflects in the sound made by the car. When God's word is deep rooted in you it carries power when you speak it forth. The spoken word manifests when it has worked and lives in you.
Prayer: Holy spirit the  words of Christ dwell in me richly that I may live it and speak it forth in power in Jesus name Amen
