THE MEANING OF GOD'S KINDNESS

Romans 2:4-5 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance? But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.

There is a reason for God's kindness, tolerance, and patience. Sometimes people say if God truly exists He should consume the wicked at once and demonstrate some powers on earth and in heaven. If you are part of those who want to see God move in that way don't worry He will definitely do it on the judgment day. But until then the nature of God that is being revealed to all is His kindness, patience, and tolerance, and the simple reason is that God wants you to be saved. He wants you to be enumerated among those who will enjoy eternal life. God is waiting for all manner of people to repent; atheists, adulters, LGBTQ society, liars, fornicators, arm robbers, murders, gossips, etc. Man may not be patient with these things but God is patiently waiting for our repentance. 2 Peter 3:9&15 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.
Most of us are anxious about God keeping His promise of coming again and we have forgotten that when comes again it would not be any gain for us because we have not gained Christ yet. Maranatha Jesus is coming again for those who have Christ is for eternal life and for those who do not have Christ is eternal condemnation. Why do you belong?

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I thank you for being patient with me. Today I come with a repented heart have mercy upon and qualify through the cleansing power of your blood for eternal life. Amen
