OUR PERMANENT PRIEST AND HELPER

Hebrews 7:24-26 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Such a high priest truly meets our need one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.

In a world's system, mostly governmental appointments and people's appointments into certain jobs and positions are not strictly by qualification but most often is about whom you know. So after every election and inauguration of new governments, almost all officials of the old government vacate their position. In Hebrews seven the Levitical priesthood is being compared with the ministry of Jesus Christ. The Levitical priests were changed but the priesthood of Jesus is permanent and because His priesthood is permanent is always able to render help to all who need it. Help does not come from people who are no longer in office but help comes from in office. The priesthood office of Jesus Christ is permanent He is always there ready to help us. His jurisdiction goes beyond the heavens and the earth. You can not be short of help in Life because Jesus Christ is our present help in times of need.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I thank you that you have a permanent office and I can call on you any day and time for help. Glory to God.
