HOW YOU INSULT THE SPIRIT OF GRACE

Hebrews 10:29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. Moses brought the Law with its regulations. Christ Jesus brought Grace and truth. Where there is Grace there is truth. The punishment of those who died under the law cannot be compared to the punishment of those who will die under grace. When we deliberately go back to our sins we call God a liar. What we saying is that the blood of Jesus Christ did not carry the power to sanctify. And that is insulting the Spirit of grace. Matthew 12:31 And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy (Irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable) against the Spirit will not be forgiven. The Holy Spirit is our present help always near us teaching us to do right and warning us against wrongdoing. If the Spirit leads you to do the right thing that same Spirit leads us away from evil. We insult the Spirit of grace when we make Him malfunction in dealing with our sins. Are your actions an insult to the Holy Spirit?

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I pray for mercy, forgive me for insulting the Spirit of grace. Holy Spirit help yield to your directives in Jesus' name. Amen.
