INCONSISTENT BEINGS

Isaiah 2:22 Stop trusting in mere humans, who have but a breath in their nostrils. Why hold them in esteem? 

To humans, the most valuable asset we have is our breath because without it we cannot exist and jet to God is nothing. Why? Because our most valuable asset which is our breath has been loaned to us by Him and He can take back anything. No wonder the Bible says in Luke 16:15b What people value highly is detestable in God's sight. 

The Bible is very clear on this don't trust humans and any man-made thing because those things are as temporal as the one who made them.  Human beings are subjected to change but God abides forever. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Things made by humans come in versions and they change with the passage of time and become irrelevant as the days and years pass by. God and the things he made have not changed. The sun, the moon, the stars have not changed in version. Can you imagine if these things were made by men the version they would have reached by now, the sun for 2020 have been named solar 2020 pro or plus or something with different radiations and specs.

At a point in time, you felt you were using the top-notch phone, laptop, car computer software, etc. But now you check and is irrelevant now; windows seven is irrelevant now, iPhone 7 is irrelevant now, Nokia 3210 is not in the system anymore. God handed down His word to us from time memorial and it has never changed. What the word of God did in the lives of the people of old it is still doing the same and greater works than ever before. Can that be said about the computer you were using ten years ago, can that be said about the phone you were using just last. Beloved stop putting your trust in man and man-made things believe in God and His word. He is too consistent for Him to fail you as the days and years pass by.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ from today I have decided to trust you only. Help me to forever lay hold on your words of life in Jesus mighty name Amen.
