HOW TO BENEFIT FROM YOUR SALVATION

Isaiah 12:3 With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

Salvation is a balanced diet. It contains all that God has installed for humanity. Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour all that pertains to life and godliness is given. 2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

But the condition for drawing these benefits of salvation is joy. Just the Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God, so is it also that without joy it is impossible to enjoy the benefits of salvation. The people of Israel did not enter the promised land because most of them complained and nagged along the way. The Prophet Elijah's ministry came to end when he was complaining too much. Jesus never approved of matter's behavior when she complained of Mary not helping her out. Complaints don't move God to act in your favor rather it works against you. Philippians 2:14- Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation." Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky. Again in Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Grumbling and arguments make guilty and unholy before God. Rejoice always even in affliction rejoice. Those who have seen the Great move of God are those who rejoiced amid their affliction. The likes of Job, Paul, Joseph, Daniel, and the rest continued to serve the Lord with much joy and the Lord came through for them. Complaining in your walk with the Lord will not earn you any of the packages of salvation. We remain sick, broke, weary, bitter, unloving angry at family, and the world at large. Rejoice in the Lord and draw from the wells of salvation. With joy you can reap the benefits of salvation which includes eternal life, good wealth and health, peace of mind, good human relationship. 3John 1:2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. These blessings and many more are drawn with joy. Drop complains and anger and draw with joy from the wells of salvation.
