WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO DISREGARD GOD'S WORD

Jeremiah 36:29-30 Also tell Jehoiakim king of Judah, ’This is what the LORD says: You burned that scroll and said, "Why did you write on it that the king of Babylon would certainly come and destroy this land and wipe from it both man and beast?" Therefore this is what the LORD says about Jehoiakim king of Judah: He will have no one to sit on the throne of David; his body will be thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and the frost by night.

This is what happens to those who disregard the Word of the Lord, they face eternal damnation. Whether you are a king or a citizen you will face God's judgment concerning how you treat His Holy Word. King Jehoiakim exempted himself and his generations from royalty because he did not regard God's Word. Jesus Christ is the lion of the tribe of Judah who has gone ahead to prepare a place for those who believe in Him and obey His word. He won't share His kingdom with those who burnt His word and has no regard for it.

Prayer: Holy Spirit I pray for the grace to always uphold your word of truth above every other word in Jesus mighty name Amen.
