UNITED IN OUR DIFFERENCES

1Corinthians12:18-20 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

Our unity does not lie in our uniformity but in our differences. Our unique differences are not for competition but complementation towards achieving the ultimate purpose of God thus saving of souls, the edification of the saints, and building His church. Our physical body, our unique skills, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit have been given to us in diverse forms towards building the Kingdom. Matthew 16:18 And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
We build the Kingdom with our diverse gifts and the enemy also prevails against the church through his agents with their bodies, skills their gifts from foul spirits. What scares the devil is when he sees the church on a united front. Thus when we have concentrated our bodies as an acceptable sacrifice to the Lord,  when we are serving the Lord our skills and finally when we operating in the power and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we resist the enemy. Let see our bodies, skills, and gifts of the Holy Spirit as weapons against the devil's kingdom and not as a competition among ourselves.

Prayer: Holy Spirit give me an understanding on how to use my body, skills and the gifts of the Holy Spirit to build your church and as a weapon against the devil and his kingdom in Jesus name Amen
