THE END-TIME CHURCH

Isaiah 2:2-3 In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

The end-time church is highly glorious and exalted. When we refer to the church we are first talking about individual believers and the gathering of believers. The temples we build can be used for any other thing depending on the type of people who gather in them. The church thus is not the building but a people whose faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Every disciple of Christ Jesus and the gathering of believers must be exalted to attract many people. Is the end-time mandate of the church. How do we do that? Matthew 5:14-16“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. God has already given us the light but the honour is on us to shine. Isaiah 60:1 "Arise, shine, for your light, has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. How do we shine? We shine by the good works we do before men. These are the very words of Jesus Christ " Let your light shine before men" not in your heart. Therefore those who profess that their relationship or walk with the Lord is in the heart and are careless about their outward actions before men are ignorant about God's word. What is in your heart is for God to see but what you do on the outside is what men will see. If you outward expressions that will attract people to God not what is in your heart.

After our good works have caused many to come to Jesus Christ or into the house of God, we have to let them understand they are there for just one reason; to be taught God's word so that they will walk in His ways. Isaiah 2: 3a He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths. Stop promising people husbands and wives at church, babies, stop telling people they will travel, get jobs, get healings, breakthroughs at church, is a lie and an error; it is a false doctrine. These are not the why people must believe in Jesus Christ or join a Church. Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." These are the very words of Jesus Christ, people are saved or become born again, join a church to be taught God's word period. All others are bonuses. Stop turning our churches into dating hubs and job scouting centres. Your duty in these end times as believers is to shine through your good works and attract many to Christ Jesus and teach them to obey God's word.

Prayer: Holy Spirit renew my mind. Help me to shine through my good works. Give me a proper understanding of your word so that I may be able to teach others to establish them in the faith in Jesus' name. Amen.
