THE DISTINGUISHING FACTOR

Revelation 18:4 Then I heard another voice from heaven say: "’Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.

God is always ins the business of calling His people to separate themselves from the world. Who are the people of God? The ones who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour. 
John 17:14 &16 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.
Even though we are in the world as believers, we are called to live and pattern after the word of God that is the distinguishing factor between us and the world. If you claim you are a believer and still live as the world does, you are in error; you must quickly have a change of mind and heart, so you don't have a share in the sins of the devil and share in its plagues. Coming out of the world means applying the word of God or the principles of God in the way we do our things. The world has its ways, but the way of the believer is the word of God.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for choosing me to come out of the world and live by the principles of your word. I pray to continue in your word to the very end in Jesus' name. Amen
