STANDING WITH THE GREATEST

Revelation 14:1 Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

Have you ever wondered about standing with the most outstanding personality of all time? What is the feeling like when you see footballers taking the championship, or even athletes taking a stand for their medals, or even world leaders meeting at conferences and so on? Sometimes we envisage meeting such people taking pictures with them or having their autographs. In as much as it is a good feeling, it is not the ultimate. Imagine yourself standing with Jesus Christ; what an experience not only temporary but eternally. Revelation 14:3 This great choir sang a wonderful new song in front of the throne of God and before the four living beings and the twenty-four elders. And no one could learn this song except those 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.For they are spiritually undefiled, pure as virgins, following the Lamb wherever he goes. They have been purchased from among the people on the earth as a special offering to God and to the Lamb.No falsehood can be charged against them; they are blameless. Your wish of standing with the great here on earth may never materialize. Still, surely you can book yourself an eternal standing with the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ, by believing in His death and resurrection as divine reconciliation between man and God.

Prayer: Lord  Jesus Christ, I desire to have a treat here on earth with you and in eternity. I repent of our sins, have mercy on me forgive me that I may be enumerated among your elect. Amen
