ARE YOU GUILTY OF BLOOD - SHEDDING?

Ezekiel 3:18 When I say to a wicked person, ’You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.

From the previous verses we have studied in Ezekiel so far, God has been clear to the priest Ezekiel on the kind of people he would deal with. Ezekiel 2:4 The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, ’This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’
We are likely to think that because God knows their negative attitude, therefore, it is justifiable if the man of God refuses to reach out to them with God's word, but God says no. No matter or stubborn, notorious, wicked, sinful a person or people may be, we have been mandated to reach out to them.  Matthew 28:19-18 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." The great commission is not selective; we must reach all kinds and manner of people.
Matthew 10:16 “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. We are guilty of blood-shedding if we fail to reach out and dissuade wicked people from their ways. Are you guilty of blood-shedding?

Prayer: Holy Spirit, I need the boldness to reach out to wolves and lions to bring to the saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ, grant this unto me in  Jesus' name. Amen.
