ETERNAL RECORDS

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

Our verse today gives a picture of a court. This is not a human court but a heavenly court with one judge. You may never enter a court here on earth till your die, but for sure, there is one judge we all cannot escape Jesus Christ, who is the judge of all. The Bible says book were opened, and another book called the book of life was opened as well. How you lived your life is recorded in these books, and it will determine your heavenly reward. The book of life, as its name goes, contains the name of those who will have eternal life.
John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. If you never believed this while on earth, you will miss eternity. Make sure your name does not only appear in the books but make sure it also appears in the book of life.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I believe in the only true God and Jesus Christ His Son. Please have mercy on me and help me run with this truth to the very end in Jesus' name. Amen
