IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO BE CHOSEN

Revelation 17:14 Together they will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because he is Lord over all lords and King over all kings, and his people are the called and chosen and faithful ones."

Revelation 17 speaks about the scarlet beast and cohort waging war against Jesus Christ. Our verse understudy gives us two reasons why the Lamb overcame them. The Lamb overcame number one because He is the King of kings and the Lords of lords. The number two reason the Lamb conquered is because of His people. The people of Lamb played a vital role in His victory against his enemies. The people of the Lamb are called chosen and faithful ones. John 15:16 You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. Indeed as believers, we have been chosen by God to partner with Him in His quest against the devil, but being chosen is not enough; we must remain faithful to every end, thus remaining in God and His teachings.
Hebrews 3:5 "Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house," bearing witness to what would be spoken by God in the future. The needs you in His army here on earth against the enemy and in eternity to will need you, you have been chosen yes but that is not the only criteria God needs your faithfulness. You can't be chosen and unfaithful; then, you cannot be in the Lord's army.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for choosing me just as I am, dear Lord; you desire my faithfulness; I pray for the grace and power to be faithful in Jesus' name. Amen
