A THOUGH ASSIGNMENT

Ezekiel 2:6-7 And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people. You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.

To be forewarned is to be forearmed. God sends the priest Ezekiel to the people of Israel, who God describes as rebellious people. The nature of the people we have been sent to must not deter us from our assignment. Matthew 10:16-17 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues. God has already done the feasibility study your mission and assignment is possible. Speak the word as you have been given do that which you have called to do. Don't be afraid at all to do your assignment.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, grant me the courage and wisdom to fulfill my divine assignment amid the challenges I may encounter in Jesus' name. Amen.
