WHOSE CORRECTION DO YOU ACCEPT?

Jeremiah 8:4-5 "Jeremiah, say to the people, 'This is what the Lord says: When people fall down, don't they get up again? When they start down the wrong road and discover their mistake, don't they turn back? Then why do these people keep going along their self-destructive path, refusing to turn back, even though I have warned them?

It's amazing how we have accepted correction from all kinds of people but we have a challenge accepting the corrections of the Lord. We have countlessly erased and canceled out our exercises many times in school once we see what we have is different from what the teacher has on the board. We have accepted directions from people we don't know from Adam because we missed our way. We trust uncle Google, aunty YouTube, and brother location map without a shadow of a doubt. Why is it difficult trusting Jesus Christ? The people of his time called him a good teacher. He testified about Himself before Abraham I was around. Who among those you accept correction from has these testimonies about themselves? It is about time you start taking correction from the Lord and turn back when He says so. Because in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, He got the whole world in hands, He has been steering the wheels of the earth and we have never crushed. Ships have sunk, aircraft have crashed and there have been numerous motor accidents. But our planet is intact because Jesus has got wheels. And your life will definitely be intact if you accept His corrections.
2Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do._

Prayer: Father am sorry for not heeding to your corrections, I repent from my disobedience and I ask for the help of the Holy Spirit as I purpose in my heart to diligently follow the corrections of the Lord in Jesus name Amen.
