DEFINITION OF A GOOD NAME

Jeremiah 11:19 I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying, "Let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name is remembered no more."

Yesterday we talked about the relevance of names and we established the greatest name of all time is Jesus Christ. The people of Anathoth wanted to kill the prophet Jeremiah and the reason being they don't want his name remembered anymore. The people thought killing Jesus Christ will be the last time His name will be heard. But they missed it. Even in the grave, His name was making an impact there. Proverbs 22:1 A GOOD name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold. Why? Because in Heaven is your name that written in the book of life, not your riches. A good name is a name that has been written in the LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE. And you get your name written in this Book of Life because you chose to lie in the name of Jesus Christ. It is better to choose Jesus Christ over silver and gold because when you die your silver and gold will be left here on earth but you carry your name with you into eternity. Believe in the name of Jesus Christ and get your name registered in eternity.

Prayer: Jesus Christ I believe in your name and in your name, I receive my salvation now! Write my name in The Book of Life. Thank you Jesus Amen.
