DO YOU KNOW THE LORD?

Jeremiah 22:13 "Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his own people work for nothing, not paying them for their labor. Jeremiah 22:16 He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?" declares the LORD.
God hates people who rule, who create empires and make money through false means. The upper room in our verse today denotes decision making point. When you judge and make decisions about people unfairly, God regards you as a wicked person. When you use people and pay them less than what they deserve that too our Lord considers as wickedness, it even more wicked when you don't pay your workers. Defending the course of the poor and needy is what qualifies us to say we know the Lord. Not our tongue speaking per speedometer or what we do in worship.
James 1:27 Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father means that we must care for orphans and widows in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us.
Are you sure you know the Lord?
Prayer: Lord deliver me from unrighteousness and injustice, bring me to a place where I will always support those in need in Jesus name Amen
