THE OUTSTANDING LOCATIONS

Isaiah 2:2 In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. 

In fulfillment of this prophecy, Jesus Christ made this statement about the church in His days on earth. Matthew 5:14-15 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. This means the church will stand out in a generation where there is darkness.

The exaltation of the church is not only about our prosperity and the nice edifices we will put up, but most importantly, we stand and preach the gospel for the salvation of many souls. This is best illustrated on the day of Pentecost. The coming of the Holy Spirit drew the focus of all nations, tongues, and tribes to the Apostles of the Lord Jesus, where the teaching of the word and the power of the Holy Spirit brought many unto salvation. Our establishment as the highest mountain and exalted place is to raise high the banner of Jesus Christ, drawing many to His saving knowledge.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me to find and to walk the narrow way to find life in Jesus' name. Amen!
