QUALITIES OF THE FEW

Isaiah 1:9 Unless the Lord Almighty had left us some, we would have become like Sodom; we would have been like Gomorrah.

The people of Sodom were wiped out completely because God didn’t find a few. There are many people in the world, but only a few are chosen. God always calls many, but only a few turn out. “For many are invited, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22: 14

Few are powerful because of the choices they make in life. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. 

The few people who become powerful are those who choose small and narrow things. They have taken the narrow and difficult path, which is a lonely one. 

Churches, families, institutions, and nations have been built by the few who have taken the small and difficult path. Don’t be afraid to start small or with a few people. Always remember great things start with small and few.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me find and walk the narrow way to find life in Jesus' name. Amen!
