THE DISTINGUISHING FACTOR

Isaiah 14:1: The Lord will have compassion on Jacob; once again he will choose Israel and will settle them in their own land. Foreigners will join them and unite with the descendants of Jacob.

Psalm 23:6 Surely your goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Mercy is synonymous 14:1: The compassion. Compassion is one thing that moves land. Act on our behalf even when we are guilty.
The ark of God had the mercy seat on top of it; at the sight of God, it sees the wrong of His people. Mercy triumphs over every form of judgment. The sure mercies are the covenant that spares and overlooks our wrongs even though we are guilty.

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. One of the blessings we readily receive from God’s presence is His mercy. Mercy is a daily renewal resource made available daily for us; again, mercy saves and delivers us from the wrath of the enemy. Lamentations 3:22-23 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Don’t stop praying about the mercies of God.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, have mercy on me and cause me to excel by your mercy in Jesus' name. Amen.
