THE AWAITING ERRAND

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6: 8

God is in dire need of errand men and women. Anyone who has experienced the salvation of the Lord is a candidate. The only qualification you need to be an errand boy or girl for the Lord is to be cleansed and washed by the blood of Jesus. In Isaiah chapter six, from verse five to seven, the prophet Isaiah admitted that he was a sinner and confessed: there and then his lips were touched with a coal of fire signifying his forgiveness. “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Right after his conversion, he qualified to speak for the Lord; the same happened to Apostle Paul, right after his conversion to Jesus Christ, had an awaiting errand for him. With your salvation comes an errand or assignment awaiting you! Woe unto you if you fail to respond.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I heed the call to go. Holy Spirit, anoint me for greater works in Jesus' name. Amen!
