VICTORY HAS A SIGN

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14

In the midst of panic, fear, and worries from his two enemies, the king of Judah received comforting words from the word of Isaiah the prophet: “Say to him, ‘Be careful, keep calm, and don’t be afraid. Do not lose heart because of these two smoldering stubs of firewood—because of the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram and of the son of Remaliah. Isaiah 7:4 After all these words, the king of Judah still felt agitated in his spirit; therefore, the all-knowing God had to send him another message to reassure him.

To boost his confidence, God wanted to give him a confirmation of His word, so the king of Judah was asked by God to request a sign to confirm their impending victory. But the king declined; therefore, God Himself gave him that sign. Guess what that sign was: the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. Beloved, victory has a sign, and that sign is Jesus Christ. Many years ago before Christ, just the prophetic word about His birth was meant to be a sign of victory. How much more now that He has been born, died, buried, and resurrected! We have the greatest hope of victory! Jesus has been born, He lives on, and He is our sign of victory!

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, my victory banner, lead me in the battles of life and grant me victory in Jesus' name. Amen!
