GRACE ENCOUNTER

“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. Isaiah 6:5-6 

The encounter of Isaiah is a beautiful and powerful one that all desire to have, just like that of Apostle Paul on the Damascus road. Strangely every believer has experienced this encounter, and unbelievers are yet to have a taste of it. Isaiah went through the salvation experience. He acknowledged his sinful state, confessed, repented, and acknowledged the Lord as his savior.

Romans 10:9-10 states that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Your heavenly encounter is when you hear the Gospel and admit how sinful you are and accept the amazing love of God towards you while you are yet a sinner. Like Isaiah, don't harden your heart; rather, accept God's gift of salvation and repent of your sin and be saved. John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I confess I am a sinner. I repent of my sin, cleanse me with your blood, and write my name in the book of life in Jesus' name.Amen.
