THE INTENT OF THE UNITED NATIONS

 Isaiah 11:8-9 The infant will play near the cobra’s den, and the young child will put its hand into the viper’s nest. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. 

The headquarters of the UN is currently located in New York and exists to maintain international peace and security. Protect human rights, deliver humanitarian aid, support sustainable development and climate action, and uphold international law. In an attempt to do all these, they have not succeeded in delivering on their number one mandate: world peace. Nations are still at war, the world is still facing climate changes, and injustice pervades our society. There is only one personality who has boldly declared His authority over all these issues. He is the Prince of Peace. Isaiah 11:4-5: But with righteousness he will judge the needy; with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth.

He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. Righteousness will be 11:4-5:It is only in the Kingdom of God, where Jesus Christ will rule, that we will have a world free of chaos. For this reason, humanity must be pointed to Jesus Christ, who is the savior of the world; it is only under His regime that we will ever have a hustle-free life. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.‘ He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:3-4

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, thank you for the gift of salvation. Holy Spirit, empower me to preach to win many to you so we can be united in your presence, in Jesus' name. Amen!
