10 ANTI-DEVIL (MARTYRS OF CHRIST)

In that day the remnant of Israel, the survivors of Jacob, will no longer rely on him who struck them down but will truly rely on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. Isaiah 10:20

We were created to operate in the realms of God until we encountered our adversary, the devil, who distorted the course of our lives. But for the love and mercy of God, we would have been sharing the same fate with him, a condemned fellow. Beloved, the downfall of the human race is the devil. He was the one who struck Adam and Eve, and he continues to afflict God’s children. 

After what the human race has

been through under the hands of the devil, we ought not to mingle with him at all. Most believers, unfortunately, are friends of the enemy, entertaining him and falling for his antics. The Bible admonishes us in many ways to be anti-devil. 

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:4 & 7. 

Those who are anti-devils submit ourselves to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and we resist the devil and are willing to die for the gospel like Stephen and all the Apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ! We have been to depend on Jesus Christ even to the point of death! Today's devotional is dedicated to Charlie Kirk, one who lived as an anti-devil and pointed many unto Jesus Christ. In Matthew 4:10, Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’ ” 

Prayer: Acts 4:29-30 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” Amen!
