THE FATHER'S SON

Hebrews 1:1-2 Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.

There has been a lot of controversies about Jesus Christ saying He is the only way to the Father. Can there the way to the Father be limited to just one person? God has history with the human race. Our walk with God, didn't start with the coming of Jesus Christ. God was relating to humans before Christ and and He is still relating with us after Christ. 

But what has changed? God had in many ways spoken to our ancestors through His prophets. What has changed is that we are not our ancestors. We are the people of the now, not the people of times past. In our time now, God is speaking to us through His Son. The Son of God is Jesus Christ. God used His intermediaries in relating to our ancestors but now He seeks to a personal relationship with us. 

The Son of God, Jesus Christ represents God better than any other person who has walked on the surface of the earth. The son is the exact representation of God. Through the Son we relate with the Father for the Father and are One. The greatest desire of God is to have a relationship with man. The many ways he used through His prophets did not achieve that. God is speaking and He is speaking through His Son Jesus Christ. 

Prayer: Holy Spirit reveal Jesus Christ to me through the word. Let me know Him, more and more. Amen
