DIVINE PARTNERSHIP

 

Ruth 2:2 And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, “Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favor.” Naomi said to her, “Go ahead, my daughter.”

Naomi is a typo of the Holy Spirit in the life life of believer Ruth. Throughout the book of Ruth we see a strong partnership between Naomi and Ruth. They had a quality relationship, they shared every piece of their lives together. Ruth had her will power but she was in constant partnership with Naomi, and she never did anything without consulting her and she never rejected any counsel that given to her by Naomi.

Ruth understood who brought her into the land of Judah and trusted her judgment and counsel at all times. Sometimes we turn to treat the Holy Spirit as an external force which we are now bringing into our lives but it is not so, the Holy Spirit was the one who convicted us of sin and its consequences and enabled us to move towards salvation and He become a seal over us after we have been born again. He was there at our spiritual birth. He has the responsibility of guiding us through our walk with the Lord. He knows how to get us to our perfect destination if only we would allow Him.

He knows the fields, places, connections and all people we need to meet in life. But are we willing for Him to have a say in our lives and are we ready to discuss issues with Him? The divine partnership between Ruth and Naomi is the type that the Holy Spirit seek us to Have with Him. Are you willing to be in constant partnership with the Holy Spirit?

Prayer: Holy Spirit sorry if I ever grieved you by disobeying you. From today I live in constant partnership with you, be my daily guide as I journey through life in Jesus name. Amen
