GOD - FORSAKEN

1 Kings 11:33  For Solomon has abandoned me and worshipped Ashtoreth, the goddess of the Sidonians; Chemosh, the god of Moab; and Molech, the god of the Ammonites. He has not followed my ways and done what is pleasing in my sight. He has not obeyed my decrees and regulations as David his father did.

Most often we pray and cry out Father do not forsake me because we feel the Father has been quiet on us. There are seasons in God's life where He also feels forsaken. The Bible mentioned three gods which Solomon worshipped to show he had forsaken the Lord. When you are also involved in these three things it means you are forsaking God.

The first Ashtoreth the God of Sidonians. Ashtoreth means star. A star can be used to represent nature and things created from nature, A star also gives direction the wise men followed a star to locate Jesus Christ at His birth. You forsake God when you worship anything He created or created by human hands. Anything you prioritise over God is an idol. Being it social media handles, relationships, work, etc. Again God feels forsaken when we take directions from any other place and other people rather than Him. The second god Solomon worshipped was Chemosh. Chemosh means subduer. Anything that overcomes, quietens or brings you under control is subduer and you must not yield to it. Many are worshipping Chemosh in the form of toxic relationships, drug addictions, sexual addictions, and emotional and psychological strongholds.

Any time you allow any of these things to control you, you have forsaken God. The last god mentioned that Solomon worshipped was Milcom which means great king. Today occultism, consultation of mediums, witchcraft, idolatry, illuminati and satanic systems have infiltrated our world. People have yielded, surrendered and subscribed to Satanism. Don't be deceived you are not worshipping the Almighty God. All other gods are the works of the devil and his cohorts. Jesus Christ is the Lord of all and Him only must be worshipped. Jesus Christ is the Greatest King. No shall have no God apart from me the Father says. If you have forsaken God there is still hope for you, turn to Jesus Christ and He will not forsake you, but he will take you and save you for His name sake.

Prayer: Father forgive me for forsaking you and worshipping other gods. Jesus Christ have mercy on me and save for your name sake. Amen.
