PERSUADE

2 Corinthians 5:11 Because we understand our fearful responsibility to the Lord, we work hard to persuade others. God knows we are sincere, and I hope you know this, too.

Marketers are very good at persuading. They weave words together and persist till they get you to buy their products. Sometimes the products and services they market may not be as authentic as they claim but they push it anyway. Why do they do that? They do it because they are given a target or responsibility and that is how they get paid. Beloved you also have the responsibility to the Lord and it's a fearful one. One thing you need to be responsible towards this assignment is understanding. Because we understand our fearful responsibility to the Lord, we work hard to persuade others. Do you have an understanding regarding why God saved you, gifted you in certain areas and has blessed you with all that you? There is an assignment, you have a target of living a life that pleases Him and to save a soul.

Gain understanding regarding your responsibility in the Kingdom of God. Even Jesus Christ operated with the Spirit of understanding. Isaiah 11:2b The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding. Without understanding you won't appreciate your responsibility. Ephesians 1:18 The eyes of your understanding  being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. We must persuade because we will be held accountable and the output we have given will determine our rewards. 2 Corinthians 5:9-10 So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him. For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body. Daniel 12:3 Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.

Prayer: Holy Spirit as I pray may let me encounter Jesus Christ and let Him bring me every heart desire in His Holy name I pray. Amen.
