THE ANSWER TO MANY PRAYERS

Luke 2:37 and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years,  who did not depart from the temple but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

In Luke chapter two we are introduced to two great characters. These two personalities were Simeon and Anna they both have something in common they were praying for the redemption of Israel. Prayer is no respecter of gender men ought to pray and women also ought to pray. When Jesus' parents brought Him to the temple they both testified that Jesus Christ is the one who is to redeem the people of Israel.

Jesus Christ is the answer many people are seeking in prayer. Luke 2:26-32 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord`s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: "Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace,

According to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel." In Acts Chapter ten also, we are introduced to the great general Cornelius who gave alms and prayed yet his prayers were not complete minus the personality of Jesus. He had an encounter with the angel of God to bring Peter to his house to hear the good news of Jesus and to receive the Holy Spirit. 

Acts 10:44-45 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. Behind every prayer is the revelation of the personality of Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Holy Spirit as I pray may let me encounter Jesus Christ and let Him bring me every heart desire in His Holy name I pray. Amen.
