SEXUAL PURITY

Leviticus 18:22-23 “Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin. “A man must not defile himself by having sex with an animal. And a woman must not offer herself to a male animal to have intercourse with it. This is a perverse act.

Sex is honourable when is done within the parameters of God. God had a clear purpose for creating sex. Where there is no purpose abuse is inevitable. It is rather unfortunate the devil has corrupted the mind of most people when it comes to the subject of sex. Sex is when a man and woman have intimacy; it involves the use whole body and they touch sensitive areas of their bodies to arouse with the use of male and female sex organs. Sex is approved by God only in the context of marriage.

Water changes once any foreign substance is added to it. The moment a tea bag, or any beverage is added to water is no longer water but is given the name of the substance added, tea, coffee, or chocolate beverage. Sex is what God meant it to be, anything out of God's principle is not called sex but sin.
Sex was made available for married couples to have pleasure and procreate. Today sex has lost its honour and glory. Leviticus eighteen clearly states evil activities; sex with blood relations is wrong, same-sex marriage is wrong, and sex with animals is wrong.

It doesn't matter how feel about it, evil is evil. 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Sexual sin is against your body, it is self-destructive and that is why the enemy has perverted it so much. But God is a good God and a God of restoration. If you will call on Him genuinely for help and yield the elements of your body to him, He will cleanse you and bestow on you glory and purity.

Prayer: Father in Jesus' name, I admit have fallen short of your glory in the area of my sexual life, have mercy on me, wash me by the blood of Jesus Christ and restore my honour and dignity in that area in Jesus' name. Amen.
