TRULY WISE

Isaiah 19:12 What has happened to your wise counsellors, Pharaoh? If they are so wise, let them tell you what the Lord Almighty is going to do to Egypt.

A Lot of people claim to be wise in their own eyes. Most of these people operate with the wisdom of men. We have the wisdom of God and we have the wisdom of men. James 3:13-17 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and hypocrisy. In chapter three of James makes a clear distinction between the wisdom of God and that of men. Being wise is shown in purity, peace gentleness, one's ability to yield to God and His ways, full mercy and good fruits not being partial and without hypocrisy.

Today a lot of people who have fallen short of this standard of God parade themselves physically and on the internet claiming to be wise counsellors taking many away from the truth of God.  Never accept any sugar-coated found from smooth-tongued personalities who lack reverence for God and whose counsel are not linked to God's word.
Isaiah 19:12 What has happened to your wise counselors, Pharaoh? If they are so wise, let them tell you what the Lord Almighty is going to do to Egypt. The counselors of Pharaoh claimed to be wise until it came to God. They had no idea about God and His ways. A person who does know anything about God and His ways cannot be said to be wise. They are wise in their own eyes.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me,
That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord. Knowing and understanding God is the test of wisdom.

Prayer: Holy Spirit grant me discernment to distinguish the wisdom of God and the wisdom of men that I may apply myself to wise counsel in Jesus' name. Amen
