THE REIGN OF CHRIST

Isaiah 16:5 In love a throne will be established; in faithfulness a man will sit on it — one from the house of David — one who in judging seeks justice and speeds the cause of righteousness.

The earlier verses of Isaiah 16 talk about the distressed women of Moab seeking refuge. Isaiah 16:2-4 Like fluttering birds pushed from the nest, so are the women of Moab at the fords of the Arnon.  "Make up your mind," Moab says. "Render a decision. Make your shadow like night — at high noon. Hide the fugitives, do not betray the refugees. Let the Moabite fugitives stay with you; be their shelter from the destroyer."
The oppressor will come to an end, and destruction will cease; the aggressor will vanish from the land. These are people needed protection urgently but verse answers their cry. Oppression does not end, with democratic or military rule, it ends with the rule of God. God has begun His reign in love. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Before the final judgment of the lawless one, God has thrown an invitation to all who want to be free from the oppressor's rule through His Son Jesus Christ. He is the faithful one from the tribe of David who rules with justice and speeds up righteousness.
In these times Christ is reigning in the heart of men and women, releasing them from the bonds of sin and any captivity, ushering them into divine destiny and purpose. And these are the chosen ones who will reign and rule with Him as His second appearing. Do you desire to be free then accept the gift of salvation in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ am still under the oppressor's rule of sin. I believe in your death and resurrection, let your blood cleanse me and your name bring me total libration in Jesus' name have I prayed. Amen
