WATCHING AND PRAYING

Matthew 26:41: "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."

Jesus at His desperate moment when He was weighed down by his life challenge took to prayer. And recommended prayer for his disciples as an antidote to temptations.  Oftentimes, before you fall into any form of predicament the signs, are on the wall clear to see by all but sometimes you ignore it.  God cautioned Cain to watch out for signs he ignored and eventually fell into sin. We only look at prayer and forget to watch. Watch out for unusual attitudes, habits, ideas, groups of friends encroaching and pray to God so He will deliver you from any temptation. Temptations are part of our everyday life and for us not to yield and fall into sin Jesus taught in the Lord's prayer that we should pray to the Father not to lead us into temptation. Read 1st Corinthians 10:13 also. Good morning and have a blissful week.

Prayer: Father as I pray may your will be done, I choose to obey your words over mine flesh. Grant me a stronger spirit to say no to temptations in Jesus' name. Amen
