THE PEACE OF THE LORD

John 20:19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!"

What is your fear? The disciples of Jesus had locked themselves up for the fear of the Jews. They are out of reach, even people with good intentions for them can't get to them. But wherever you hiding because of fear, the Lord Jesus will reach you with  His peace. Their doors were locked but He stood among them and said peace be with you. Receive the peace of the Lord today. *2Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].* Jesus breathed on them and said receive the Holy Spirit. Today receive the Holy Spirit that brings the peace Lord.

Prayer: Father let your peace reach me in times of need in Jesus name Amen.
