THE FAMILY OF CHRIST

Matthew 25:40: "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

In our verse today Jesus Christ is teaching us about who He considers family. Everybody you see in the street looking filthy, hungry, naked, in prison, unsaved, sick in the hospital, drug addict, prostitute, etc. Jesus calls them family but you are too proud to associate them. God is not impressed with your giving to your family, friends and loved ones only He is impressed when you help those society has written off. What is your attitude towards the least in society?  You may call them; vagabond, useless, worthless but Jesus calls them his friends. Is time to reach out to the vulnerable in society.

Prayer: Lord reshape my thinking in the area of family. Give boldness to relate to all manner of people in wisdom in Jesus name. Amen
