THE PROPHECY THAT GOD IS EAGER TO FULFIL

Ezekiel 12:22-23 "Son of man, what is that proverb they quote in Israel: 'Time passes, making a liar of every prophet'?  Give the people this message from the Sovereign Lord: I will put an end to this proverb, and you will soon stop quoting it. Now give them this new proverb to replace the old one: 'The time has come for every prophecy to be fulfilled!'

Prophecies intrigue people to believe in God. But there seems to be one prophecy that does not intrigue people about God. As a matter of fact, some people see God to be very slow when it comes to this particular prophecy, and we can't blame them much because they have tasted the goodness of God so much that they can't believe God can destroy. When you talk about God destroying humanity, those who did not believe in Him take it for granted. From Genesis six, where Noah warned his generation about the pending danger of the flood, they failed to believe, the people of Sodom failed to believe Lot, the people of Israel failed to believe the prophets who said they would go into exile, yet it happened. It is difficult for humanity to accept that part of God that He can also destroy. Beloved, one truth about God is that He can make and destroy. God's destruction is an aspect of Him we have never experienced, yet we will soon experience it; it is not for all people to experience but for those who did not believe in His Son Jesus Christ. A lot has been said about the second coming of Christ Jesus and how the process has been delayed. Don't worry; God has a word for you; Ezekiel 12:25 For I am the Lord! What I threaten always happens. There will be no more delays, you rebels of Israel! I will fulfill my threat of destruction in your own lifetime, says the Sovereign Lord." In our lifetime, we will also experience God's destruction, but I pray you chose the rest of God over His destruction. God bless you

Prayer: Who can stand the wrath of God. Lord Jesus Christ, I believe in your name and your atoning work on the cross, save me from hell's destruction in your Holy name. Amen.
