DIVINE EXEMPTIONS

Ezekiel 9:4 and said to him, "Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it."

Not everyone rejoices in evil. Some Israelites were not happy with evil happening in their days. They grieved and mourned over people's disobedience towards God. Just as we had Lot a righteous man who stood for the Lord in the perverse land of Sodom and Gomorrah, because of his steadfastness, the Lord remembered Him. 2 Peter 2:7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless. In our day and time, we don't only cry about the evil happening, and we end there no! By preaching the gospel and our constant intercession for those perishing, we show our displeasure for the evil around us. Our complaints, groaning, and dissatisfaction does not bring any change; we see change only by preaching and praying for lost souls, and as we do that, we exempt ourselves from the judgment that is to come upon those who disobeyed because we warned them. When God told Noah to build the ark of salvation; it did not end there he went further to call them to join in, preach and pray anyway for those who are perishing; as to whether they will listen or not is not your business; keep preaching and praying for them; in that is your divine exemption

Prayer:  Holy Spirit, give me the boldness to preach and to teach your word and to also intercede with all courage to those perishing in my generation in Jesus' name.  Amen.
