WHAT IS YOUR IDOL
Ezekiel 5:9 Because of your detestable idols, I will punish you more severely than I have punished anyone before or ever will again.
Our worship is to God only. God does that permit us to love anything more than Him.
Idol is an image or representation of a god used as an object of worship, a person or thing that is greatly admired, loved, or revered. Anything you love more than God has become your idol. Idols keeps us from the love of God and His assignment for our lives. In John 21:15 Peter's love for fishing has an idol to him. After breakfast Jesus said to Simon Peter, " Simon son of John, do you love me more than these? " "Yes, Lord," Peter replied, "you know I love you." " Then feed my lambs, "Jesus told him. God hates idolatry, Aaron did not have his name mentioned among the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11 because he led God's people into idolatry. Jonah 2:8 Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them. Do not allow any idol in your life. It moves you from Grace to destruction.

Prayer: Holy spirit search within and purge me from any form of idolatry in Jesus name Amen.
