TURNING WICKED COUNSEL INTO NONSENSE

Ezekiel 11:2-3 Then the Spirit said to me, "Son of man, these are the men who are responsible for the wicked counsel being given in this city. They say to the people, 'Is it not a good time to build houses? Our city is like an iron pot. Inside it we will be like meat—safe from all harm.'

We have Godly counsel and wicked counsel. Godly counsel directs you towards obeying the Lord and His word. But wicked counsel takes you out of the will of God. Jaazaniah and Pelatiah were the wicked counsellors in Ezekiel's time. David also had one during his time; Ahitophel, but God said the counsel of Ahitophel will be nonsense. May any wicked counsel in your life that is not of the Lord become nonsense in Jesus name. How do you turn a wicked counsel into nonsense?  Psalm 1:1a has the answer; Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example]. By not following their advice and example you make their counsel nonsense.  By disobeying them, you make yourself a candidate of God's blessings instead of His curse.

Prayer:  From today by the help of the Holy Spirit, I walk away from every wicked counsel in Jesus Jesus' Amen
